Leave Marrakech and drive to the High Atlas Mountains to begin your Toubkal National Park trek. The trek starts in Imi Oughlad (1,450m), where you will be introduced to your Berber guide and muleteer team. The first day of trekking will be a gentle acclimatization hike through the scenic Ouirgane National Park, with rolling terrain, copper-green soil and juniper trees. You will hike toward Tinzert village where you can enjoy lunch with views of Ouirgane Valley. In the afternoon, follow a quiet trail through olive groves and valleys toward Marigha.
Expect to hike approximately 5–6 hours in total.
After breakfast, you will walk along paths through olive trees and gradually ascend into the beautiful Azzaden Valley. Upon entering the valley, you will be amazed by the incredible views of the surrounding Atlas Mountains. Your guide and cook will prepare lunch at a scenic spot along the trail. In the afternoon, walk beside the river, pass through traditional Berber villages, and arrive at Aït Aïssa (1,860m).

Today’s walk is a 5–7 hour hike through Azzaden Valley, visiting the beautiful village of Tizi Oussem. We will also take a detour to see the Tamsoult waterfalls, the largest waterfalls within Toubkal National Park, before continuing along a trail over Tizi Mzik Pass (2,500m) with stunning views over Imlil Valley and the Atlas range. We conclude this memorable Toubkal National Park trek by descending to Imlil and returning to Marrakech.
