– Arrive in Fes and check into your accommodations. – Spend the afternoon exploring the Fes el Bali (Old Medina), a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you weander the winding, narrow alleys, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, a fine example of Islamic architecture.
– Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, arguably one of the oldest universities in the world. then head to the colourful tanneries of Fes and learn about traditional leather-making.
– In the afternoon, visit the gates of the Royal Palace.
– Enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea at a local café.( not booked or included )
Take the early morning train to Meknes (1 hour). When you arrive, if you’d like we can arrange for you to visit “Volubilis” an ancient Roman city with well-preserved remains near Meknes. Return to Meknes for an overnight stay. In Meknes, you can enjoy visiting the historical attractions of Mecknes such as the Bab Mansour Gate, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
– Travel to Rabat via train (2-hour journey). while in rabat you may explore the following highlights, Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Kasbah of the Udayas, explore the beautiful beaches surrounding Rabat, or visit Chellah an ancient Roman and medieval necropolis. Overnight Stay in Rabat.
Travel to Casablanca by train (about 1 hour). In Casablanca you can visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque (one of the largest mosques in Africa). Stroll along the Corniche of Casablanca which is along the Atlantic Ocean. – Dinner (not booked or included) at Rick’s Café – inspired by the classic film “Casablanca.”
You will board an AM train to Marrakech (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest before exploring Jemaa el-Fnaa square with its colorful atmosphere, street performers, and entertainers. See Koutoubia Mosque and everything else
This is the last day. Visit some of the well–known gardens of Marrakech, such as Jardin Majorelle or Menara Gardens. While you are in Marrakech, you should visit Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs to learn more about Morocco’s history. Finally, you will have time for last-minute shopping in Marrakech’s souks before your departure.
