This itinerary provides a premium Morocco trip packages organized to show off a variety of locations throughout the country. This includes many famous sites by travelling across the Atlantic Ocean to reach Casablanca and travelling through four Imperial cities  Rabat, Meknes and Fez. Travel from the Middle Atlas mountains to the beautiful golden dunes of the Sahara, this trip includes the balance of culture, scenery and adventure. It will include visits to many historic Medinas, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and camel treks. The trip will conclude in the vibrant city of Marrakech but is also a great trip for travellers looking for a unique travel experience; comfort and knowledgeable guiding will be provided throughout the duration of your visit to Morocco.

Itineraries

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Your journey begins with your arrival at the major Moroccan city of Casablanca where you will check into your hotel before heading to explore the massive Hassan II Mosque, which is called the largest mosque in Morocco. After touring the mosque you will be able to stroll down the Corniche while soaking up the coastal atmosphere of Casablanca.

Day 2: Day Trip to the Royal City of Rabat and Meknes
The second day of your travel is a day trip to Rabat and Meknes. In Rabat, you will visit the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V before heading to Meknes for a visit to Bab Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Day 3: Journey through Ancient Fes
Today you will spend the entire day in the Medina of ancient Fes el Bali (Fez) where you will see the very first university in the world, Al Quaraouiyine, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and many colorful local souks (markets).

Day 4: Traveling through the Middle Atlas and into the Sahara
Your fourth day will be traveling to Merzouga after a scenic drive through Ifrane, Cedar Forest and Midelt. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will take a camel ride into the Sahara desert during which you will be able to watch the sunset over the dunes.

Day 5: Enjoying Activities in the Sahara Desert
On your fifth day, you will begin your day by waking up early to watch the sun rise over the dunes. Throughout the day, you will participate in many exciting activities in the Saharan desert including sandboarding, visiting a local oasis village, and in the evening, listening to Berber musicians perform traditional music.

Day 6: Explore the Beauty of Todra Gorge and the Adventure Capital of Ouarzazate
On your travel to the Todra (Todra) Gorge and to Ouarzazate, you will take part in many exciting adventures in the high mountain ranges and oases between these two sites.

Welcome to Casablanca, Morocco’s biggest city and commercial capital. journey begins! Once you land at Mohammed V International Airport, we’ll be taken straight to the hotel. And in the afternoon, don’t miss the chance to wander through the imposing Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, known for its awe-inspiring architecture and stunning west coast views. Allow an easy, evening stroll on the Corniche and getting the feel of this international city.

Let’s pack our bags  we’re heading to Rabat, the capital of Morocco! Here, we’ll discover a trove of history with tours of the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before departing for Meknes, a World Heritage site famed for its fabulous gateways and palaces. Bab mansour and Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail before we get to unwind at our hotel for the evening.

Today, we’re heading to Fes, one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco! we’ll spend the day exploring Fes el Bali (Old Fes), with its maze-like alleys and lively souks. we’ll  check out Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the world’s oldest universities, and admire the beautiful tile work at Bou Inania Madrasa. The deep history and cultural richness of this city will truly enchant you!

Depart from Fes and venture into the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. our journey will take us to Ifrane, a delightful spot known as “Little Switzerland” thanks to its alpine-style buildings and verdant surroundings. After soaking in the scenery, we’ll pass through cedar forests and stop in Midelt for lunch. Then, it’s onward to Merzouga, right at the Sahara Desert’s edge. Prepare ourselves for an unforgettable night as we embark on a camel trek into the dunes to witness a spectacular sunset.

Begin our day at the crack of dawn with a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes, then head back to your desert camp for a tasty breakfast. Fill our day with the unique desert life experiences, sandboarding to a visit to a nearby oasis village.

In the evening, relax in the glow of a campfire and enjoy the haunting strains of traditional Music fills the air from Berber instruments under this sky of the stars.

Let’s start our trip, leave Merzouga & drive to Ouarzazate. Be not to miss the stunning Todra Gorge whose dramatic rock walls will really take your captivate you. ‘Soon we’ll come to, winding our way through bucolic landscape .

Ouarzazate, which many call “The Door of the Desert.” Take some time to visit Taourirt Kasbah before we check in to our hotel for the evening.

Return to Marrakech on your last day, with a visit to Ait-benHaddou a fortified village on the way.

The entire trip from Casablanca to Marrakech will take a period of seven memorable days, affording you to visit the royal cities of Morocco along with mountainous and desert scenery without feeling rushed. Driving times will differ depending upon which routes you’re using, however, your itinerary is planned to give you a comfortable amount of travel time versus sightseeing time.

Yes! This tour includes an authentic Sahara Desert experience in Merzouga. You will have the opportunity to ride camels, watch a sunset over the desert, and spend a night at a traditional Berber camp under the stars which most people find to be the highlight of traveling to the Sahara.

You will always be staying in selected riads as well as cute hotels and a desert camp throughout the tour, selected both for comfort and cleanliness, in addition to being true to Moroccan styling. Standards of accommodation differ slightly depending on the region, but all have private facilities and the warm hospitality of the locals.

The tour include a daily breakfast and half board in the desert only.
Lunches are typically not included so that travelers can discover and try different restaurants and cafes along the route. Your guide will always provide great local recommendations.
