Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be greeted by your private driver and transferred to a traditional riad in the heart of the Medina. Take time to settle in, soak up the atmosphere of Marrakech’s vibrant old town, and prepare for your coastal adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and journey west through the argan tree landscapes where you may spot goats climbing the branches. Along the way, stop at a women’s cooperative to see the traditional process of argan oil production. By early afternoon, you’ll arrive in Essaouira, a breezy Atlantic town known for its UNESCO-listed Medina, fortified ramparts, and fishing port. End the day with  retiring to your charming riad.

Wake up to the sound of seagulls and the ocean breeze. After a morning beach walk, enjoy a day dedicated to Essaouira’s artistic heritage. Visit artisan workshops specializing in thuya wood carving, silver jewelry, and traditional textiles. Wander through the Medina at your own pace, enjoy a coffee in a bohemian café, or relax on the sandy beach. In the evening, taste freshly grilled fish at the harbor while watching the sun set over the Atlantic.

Today the road leads south along Morocco’s wild Atlantic coast. Stop first in Sidi Kaouki, a laid-back surf village where camels and horses stroll along wide sandy beaches. Continue to Tafedna, a little-known fishing bay surrounded by dramatic cliffs. Enjoy a simple but delicious lunch of freshly caught fish with local fishermen(at your own expenses), then settle into an eco-lodge or guesthouse overlooking the waves. Far from the tourist crowds, Tafedna offers a peaceful night with the sound of the ocean as your lullaby.

Enjoy breakfast (included) before leaving Tafedna. Stop in Safi to visit pottery workshops, then continue to Oualidia. On arrival, savor an oyster tasting by the lagoon (included). Dinner tonight is at your own expense, with many options for seafood and Moroccan cuisine.

Breakfast is included at your riad. Join a cooking class  focused on seafood and Moroccan recipes, followed by a leisurely afternoon for kayaking, or beach walks. Dinner is at your own expense so you can select from local lagoon-view restaurants.

After breakfast , return to Marrakech. The afternoon is free for last-minute shopping or relaxation.
